Mrs. Dillow - Kindergarten - Room 113
Mrs. Dillow has been a teacher at California Area School District since 2005. She has taught 4th Grade and Kindergarten while at California Elementary School. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood / Elementary Education from California University of PA in 2004 and her Masters Degree from California University of PA, specializing in Reading Specialist, in 2006.
Mrs. Dillow believes that "Today is a great day to learn something new!" She encourages her students to challenge themselves to learn in different ways. Goals for her Kindergarten students are to: learn how to follow directions, learn how to think for yourself, learn to be curious, learn how to read and write, learn Math skills, meet new friends, learn to communicate with others, learn how to get along with others, and learn how to "learn." She encourages open communication and believes that Kindergarten is the foundation for a successful education.
Mrs. Dillow lives with her husband and two sweet puppy dogs, Nolan and Murphy. She enjoys walking, the outdoors, going on vacation, swimming, the beach, road trips out West, nature watching, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
She is excited to teach your child in Kindergarten this year and looks forward to a fun and successful year!
