Students from Ashley Madonna's classes work with teachers and staff members in California Area Elementary School's Caring Closet to inventory, organize and distribute donated hygiene items, clothing and food to the community. The school recently held a clothing drive and regularly receives food donations from area churches. With Mrs. Madonna are fifth grader Shane Piktel, third grader Austin Lawrence, paraeducator Jaclyn Fertal and School Secretary Shannon Matty.
